| I was born in 1961 in Surrey,with two | ||||
| artists as parents. After studying at | ||||
| about the artist | Surrey Institute and Kingston | |||
| anti war | University, I seriously began to paint. | |||
| seascapes | I have been doing so ever since.To | |||
| landscapes | finance this I taught painting. I | |||
| still life | opened my own art school, The | |||
| portraits | Studio, which was very popular, | |||
| nudes | and painted alongside. Four years | |||
| trees | ago, after 14 successful years with | |||
| my art school, my husband and I | ||||
| latest work | decided to move with our children to | |||
| new forest | the sea, we moved to Eastbourne in | |||
| allotment | East Sussex,This has enabled me to | |||
| sussex scenes | paint pictures of the sea for the first | |||
| sea & more | time, which I'm really enjoying. I have | |||
| trained myself in web design so I am | ||||
| contact | able now to publicize my own work, | |||
| back to home | This year I had open house here as | |||
| part of Eastbourne festival , to see | ||||

| records my reactions to nature, I'm | ||||
| very affected by the power of weather | ||||
| on the landscape and always work | ||||
| outside, battling against the elements | ||||
| sorrounded by the sounds,smells | ||||
| and incidents of the day. If I'm work ,I | ||||
| working on a still life or figure based | ||||
| always work from life, only using | ||||
| photographs for reference sometimes | ||||
| with very young children. | ||||
